This is a pretty decent cinema. Around 90% of the staff are really friendly and overall it has a good vibe. The only thing that let's it down slightly is the people who visit the cinema. Some people just can't help themselves but cause disruption by talking or shining their mobile torches around. I get it when the adverts are on but when the film starts just shut up! Or if you can't help but talk at least whisper. So, how does this affect the cinema as a business? Well I've suggested a few times now that they have members of staff, periodically going into the screens checking for nuisance customers, but nothing has changed. The other issue is putting a loud action film with all the rumblings next to a screen showing a quiet drama. This is either due to the poor sound proofing or there hasn't been a sound check. It's highly off putting to watch a drama when the walls a shaking and rattling the equipment. I've also raised this with Odeon, but nothing has changed. If only they gave the option to put your own headphones on.
Nice and simple... seats are comfy and the sound is decent quality. No premier seating or waiting areas that you get in other Cinema centres, which would be nice.

Do you remember that episode of the IT Crowd where they go see the musical called GAY? Well, it was filmed here. We went to see the dance production of Cinderella and got the cheap seats on the back row. It states clearly on the website that there is a restricted view and I wanted to clarify how restricted. You miss out on the top third of the whole stage. We managed to move about 8 rows forward at the interval and it did help with the view but remembering the difference in cost between the two seats when purchasing, stick with the cheapest.
This theatre has a great atmosphere, and even the furthest seats still have great views of the performers on stage. There are so many great shows that have been on here. The refreshments are quite expensive but that is to be expected in theatres and cinemas. There could be more choice for refreshments though. I went to see Sister Act here a couple of years ago and it was absolutely spectacular!

Had a children's party here which was great fun. Kids loved it and the cast were fantastic. Good fun! Entertainer from the cast was great and managed to handle 26 kids!
Thoroughly recommended if you have young kids and want a reasonably priced theatre experience.

We has a lovely time and my 8 year old son with special needs enjoy the show as well. Definitely visit again.
Best children's theatre. My daughter used to attend drama class - about three years. Saturday talk used to be amazing - not sure how they are now. Cafe serve great coffee and setting is very cute.
