Local Restaurants & Places to Eat around West Wimbledon

Buenos Aires Argentine Steakhouse

62 Wimbledon Hill Rd, Wimbledon, London SW19 7PA, UK – 020 8947 7544

Steak very nice, small cosy restaurant. Rib eye and sirloin were personal preference. Good sharing platter that allows you to sample 100g of each cut. Calamari starter also very nice. No complaints but Bathroom was underwhelming.

One of my favorite steak places in London. Visited here last night for dinner and - as usual - was left thoroughly impressed. The atmosphere is great and the staff are friendly and attentive. The food is brilliant! Go hungry and make an evening of it - treat yourself to all 3 courses - you’ll thank yourself for doing so.

Hashi Japanese Restaurant

54 Durham Rd, Wimbledon, London SW20 0TW, UK – 020 8944 1888

Food is delicious and beautifully presented. Can't fault the service as well as staff is very attentive. I give 3 stars due to the value for money factor.

Consistently fantastic, we've been coming here for years. Beautifully prepared and presented, delicious Japanese food. The agadashi black cod and the Hashi roll are among our favourites. Service is superb too. Probably the best Japanese restaurant in southwest London.

Pho Wimbledon

40 Wimbledon Hill Rd, Wimbledon, London SW19 7PA, UK – 020 3883 9681

Great Pho! Vietnamese Iced coffee would have been nicer with more condensed milk and more than 2 ice cubes. Homemade lemonade was ok. Service could have been better. The girls were lovely however seeing them interact with other tables compared to me was very different. They were constantly walking to other tables and checking if they needed anything asking how they were and of the meal was okay. They were also greeted much nicer and given water. I had to ask specifically for water and actively get someone's attention to order more. I was not asked how my meal was and I also had to ask for my bill then ask again to actually pay. The restaurant itself was quite nice. Average looking but a good set up with plenty of tables. It was very quiet on a Wednesday night. Overall will definitely come again for the food however will stick to water (after specifically asking for it).

First time, thought it was all non-meat but it isn't, some tasty rice dishes available. Good desserts. Good staff here too.
