New Victoria Hospital

184 Coombe Lane West, Kingston upon Thames KT2 7EG, UK – 020 8949 9000

Best place ever....... Thanks to my Consultant . The food is like you are in hilton hotel or five star hotel(best food ). The Nurses are always there when you need them and are very very friendly and professional. Rooms are highly cleaned. My Surgeon 😷 is My Hero.

I had surgery for the first time at New Victoria Hospital in October. From entering the building at 0645 on the Wednesday and leaving on the Thursday at 11am the staff and in particular the two nurses who looked after me were outstanding nothing was too much trouble. I was petrified of having surgery but everything went so well. Thank you very much for all your help and support it has been outstanding.

Parkside Hospital

53 Parkside, Wimbledon, London SW19 5NX, UK – 020 8971 8000

Some of the nursing staff didn't seem to know what they were doing, others were downright rude and unhelpful. They managed to mess up my evening meal order. After my shoulder operation, they couldn't find a sling in the whole hospital till the next day, so that they had to improvise wich wasn't great. The Physio was good except she didn't have my notes for my first appointment and although she saw me late for the last one, she didn't extend the time, which means I only had a 20 mn appointment. The Specialist and the anesthetic team were very good.

I was amazed at the care compassion and consideration given to a patient I took to Parkside Hospital today. Everyone was fantastic from the Drs To the porter. Kudos to all of you.

The Nelson Health Centre

Kingston Road, London SW20 8DA, UK – 020 3668 3300

The building is spacious and waiting times aren't too long, it has an x-ray department and unit for routine blood tests, on specific days there are specialist consultants surgeries, worth noting that these are used as GP referrals, it potentially cuts out A&E waiting times but you do need to have a GP appointment prior to being sent for these services. Also has a large pharmacy

Always a warm welcome here. Many thanks to Josh who helped me out over a mix up in appointments, for putting my mind at ease, and for explaining things in way I could understand such a lovely lady.. There is a small cafe on the ground floor to relax in afterwards over a coffee and cake where you are not rushed.

The new NHS website below is very well worth a look. Hospitals are not only listed but evaluated. I certainly know which ones I would go to! At the very least you will know what questions to ask if you are sent to one which has not entered its data. Good luck!
