TSB Bank

66 London Rd, Morden SM4 5BB, UK – 020 8790 9982

Brilliant. They couldn't be more helpful. From Steve, the Manager, to the Counter People I felt they really valued me as a customer. Having just dealt with other financial companies I was frazzled, irate & just fed up from their unhelpful archaic methods. Then I go into the Morden branch of TSB, 60 London Rd, and my goodness what a difference. The manager came out from his office, saw there was a short queue, introduced himself apologised for the wait and offered to assist anyone who wasn't withdrawing funds. Offered tea/coffee & hey presto! queue cleared in short order. Then when my turn came the young lady again apologised for the wait and then dealt with all my requirements cheerfully & professionally. So a big thumbs up from me. This is how customers should be welcomed.

5 Wimbledon Hill Rd, Wimbledon, London SW19 7NF, UK – 0345 740 4404

Came in to open a savings account, I am a foreigner and don’t know how the system works here. The woman was very respectful and did not rush me. They opened two new accounts for me for my savings and explained what I should use each one for. Each time I have gone in they have been lovely to deal with. Thank you!

Local Chambers of Commerce for SW20 0EG. These can be an extraordinarily effective way of getting into the business community and / or getting things done. Equally they can be entirely useless depending on the chair. If they have networking events associated with them definitely go, and keep going, if you have a business that need local support. Dental Surgeries

Woodside Dental Practice

49 Woodside, Wimbledon, London SW19 7AF, UK – 020 8947 5520

Really helpful friendly team, reception staff were welcoming and really helpful when arranging future appointments. Natasha the dentist was really friendly and put me at ease. Natasha explained everything to me clearly, broken down costs of everything so I know what to expect. Natasha genuinely seemed concerned about my dental health and took time to discuss my diet, which toothbrush to use and I didn't feel rushed she gave me all the time I needed to ask questions. I would strongly recommend this dental practice to anyone.

Both my dentists are extremely skilled. They are also informative, always giving me options, even if it means not necessarily in the favor of their business. This shows true concern for me as a patient and not just a customer.

Dental Rooms

1 The Ridgway, Wimbledon, London SW19 4RS, UK – 020 8946 2426

Highly Recommended. Julie felt at ease during an extensive dental process. Dev is an understanding dentist, and led us through each procedure before giving her smile and confidence back. Nothing was too much trouble. .

Dr Dev Patel and the team are totally professional and caring. I was referred by my dentist and was anxious about having four implants but immediately knew I was in safe hands. Dr Dev Patel is a perfectionist, he is meticulous, and mentors his team. Colour matching was checked and checked again. I recommend the Dental Rooms for implants and teeth whitening. Thank you.

New Victoria Hospital

Best place ever....... Thanks to my Consultant . The food is like you are in hilton hotel or five star hotel(best food ). The Nurses are always there when you need them and are very very friendly and professional. Rooms are highly cleaned. My Surgeon 😷 is My Hero.

I had surgery for the first time at New Victoria Hospital in October. From entering the building at 0645 on the Wednesday and leaving on the Thursday at 11am the staff and in particular the two nurses who looked after me were outstanding nothing was too much trouble. I was petrified of having surgery but everything went so well. Thank you very much for all your help and support it has been outstanding.

Parkside Hospital

53 Parkside, Wimbledon, London SW19 5NX, UK – 020 8971 8000

Some of the nursing staff didn't seem to know what they were doing, others were downright rude and unhelpful. They managed to mess up my evening meal order. After my shoulder operation, they couldn't find a sling in the whole hospital till the next day, so that they had to improvise wich wasn't great. The Physio was good except she didn't have my notes for my first appointment and although she saw me late for the last one, she didn't extend the time, which means I only had a 20 mn appointment. The Specialist and the anesthetic team were very good.

I was amazed at the care compassion and consideration given to a patient I took to Parkside Hospital today. Everyone was fantastic from the Drs To the porter. Kudos to all of you.

The Nelson Health Centre

Kingston Road, London SW20 8DA, UK – 020 3668 3300

The building is spacious and waiting times aren't too long, it has an x-ray department and unit for routine blood tests, on specific days there are specialist consultants surgeries, worth noting that these are used as GP referrals, it potentially cuts out A&E waiting times but you do need to have a GP appointment prior to being sent for these services. Also has a large pharmacy

Always a warm welcome here. Many thanks to Josh who helped me out over a mix up in appointments, for putting my mind at ease, and for explaining things in way I could understand such a lovely lady.. There is a small cafe on the ground floor to relax in afterwards over a coffee and cake where you are not rushed.

New Leaf Recycling Ltd

Service was super-fast, friendly, no hassle, and good value. I drove up with a boot of old paperwork, chucked it in a secure bin - job done - with bonus of numerous accounts details consigned to history. Reassuring. Almost therapeutic.

Very professional service and the number one choice for WEEE / E-waste in London.

Chase Metal Co. Ltd

444 Garratt Ln, London SW18 4HN, UK – 020 8947 0416

Always a very professional service when I need my metal cleared off site. They pay for copper and lead but also clear iron in a truck. No complaints.

Have used this metal yard on numerous occasions, they have even picked metal up for me. I have always received a prompt service, and good prices ,payment direct into my bank the same day, I even got a free coffee, staff are very helpful.

Give and get free stuff. Here you will find lots of items that people are willing to give away, for FREE! This is instead of taking them to a local landfill site. The aim of this site is to reduce the amount of waste that goes to landfill (20.9 million tonnes of it last year in the UK) and recycling is great news for the environment.
We all know that we need to recycle more - and this is a great way of doing it.

Jimmy's Restaurants

122 The Broadway, London SW19 1RH, UK – 020 8417 0444

Week day visit b4 Christmas; full of customers. More food stations open than usual. Feels like a weekend with so many people. When paying by credit card was asked for a tip to be added to the bill. Would prefer not to have to tip this way. Harder to decline to pay this way when asked directly for extra-money. I would feel better paying first and leaving my own tips. That way no pressure...

Great selection of food (Japanese, Mexican, American, Indian etc). Lots of Halal meat and food. In a nice area although the view is not great. Cant complain because I came for the food. Tried a little bit of everything last time. Stay away from the green pasty stuff, Wasabi is nasty :)

91 High St, Wimbledon, London SW19 5EG, UK – 020 8946 4363

I really enjoyed my dinner there. I’m pregnant now and often struggle with going out for dinner with all the restrictions I need to comply with. But here I felt there are lots of options, even healthy ones. The food was simple, classic and delicious which is expected from Italian restaurant. I really like that got a good balance of not adding too much of oil which is quite common with other chains. The food is pricey so we went with taste card to get basically half price. It will be something like £25-30 pp with starters and mains if full priced. I definitely will be going again ;)

Simple food. Staff can be stretched when busy. Our dishes were lukewarm when they arrived at our table. Average prices

Brightsparks Day Nursery

Manor Dr N, New Malden KT3 5PE, UK – 020 8329 9777

We love Brightsparks and highly recommend it to prospective parents looking for a fantastic nursery at an affordable rate. My son started at 9 months old, he is now 4 years old and has left to attend a school. He started school confident and prepared and this was all down to the fantastic staff preparing him for the move. My daughter is 1.5 years and has been going since 7 months old, she settled very quickly in the baby room and thoroughly enjoys her days at nursery. TThe rooms are well equipped and the days planned well with lots of activities to keep them stimulated. Communication is vital between parents and the staff and they have this well in hand with weekly newsletters, detailing menus, activities, upcoming events etc as well as a daily report for your child. The staff work so hard and genuinely care for your children, they are what make Brightsparks and you can rest assured that they will be getting the best start in life.

My son has gone to Brightsparks since he was 11 months and he is now nearly four and now my one year old daughter goes there. We have always found it a fantastic nursery, with great facilities and very caring loving staff. My son now does monkeynastics as well as playball that come in externally that he loves. The management team are very helpful and have always advised me with any issues I have had in bringing up my babies, like sleep issues or feeding issues or any health issues. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery for your children.

Really helpful input for 13+ and choosing Senior School. Best school uniform in the area!
