TSB Bank

66 London Rd, Morden SM4 5BB, UK – 020 8790 9982

Always extra helpful and lovely people.

Brilliant. They couldn't be more helpful. From Steve, the Manager, to the Counter People I felt they really valued me as a customer. Having just dealt with other financial companies I was frazzled, irate & just fed up from their unhelpful archaic methods. Then I go into the Morden branch of TSB, 60 London Rd, and my goodness what a difference. The manager came out from his office, saw there was a short queue, introduced himself apologised for the wait and offered to assist anyone who wasn't withdrawing funds. Offered tea/coffee & hey presto! queue cleared in short order. Then when my turn came the young lady again apologised for the wait and then dealt with all my requirements cheerfully & professionally. So a big thumbs up from me. This is how customers should be welcomed.

HSBC

5 Wimbledon Hill Rd, Wimbledon, London SW19 7NF, UK – 0345 740 4404

Had the best customer service experience in HSBC Wimbledon today from Teddy. My account was having issues with transferring money and I needed to urgently transfer a deposit for a flat. Teddy took my matter seriously which I really appreciated and was very kind and patient. He spent the best part of half an hour helping me fix my account and was just in general a very lovely person. Great customer service! Thank you.

Came in to open a savings account, I am a foreigner and don’t know how the system works here. The woman was very respectful and did not rush me. They opened two new accounts for me for my savings and explained what I should use each one for. Each time I have gone in they have been lovely to deal with. Thank you!

Dental Surgeries

Woodside Dental Practice

49 Woodside, Wimbledon, London SW19 7AF, UK – 020 8947 5520

Really helpful friendly team, reception staff were welcoming and really helpful when arranging future appointments. Natasha the dentist was really friendly and put me at ease. Natasha explained everything to me clearly, broken down costs of everything so I know what to expect. Natasha genuinely seemed concerned about my dental health and took time to discuss my diet, which toothbrush to use and I didn't feel rushed she gave me all the time I needed to ask questions. I would strongly recommend this dental practice to anyone.

Friendly and efficient staff. Good value.

Really pleased with the results, my teeth looked so much better than I ever thought they would and also saw results more quickly than I expected. Dental rooms were always helpful and supportive and would recommend them to anyone looking to improve their smile. Thank you.

St Helier Dental Surgery

245 St Helier Ave, Morden SM4 6JH, UK – 020 8648 2600

An amazing and quality service. I had a filling on outer wall of my incisors which kept coming off every 6-12 months. I have got it filled at three different surgeries in the past with the same results. Dr. Deval was very professional and the quality of the work done is impeccable. Even 18 months down the line, filling is solid and intact. I will recommend the surgery to everyone.

I have recently brought my son who was attended to by a lady called Megha who i could not fault.she reassured my son the whole time and was very attentive. She even called later on in the evening to check he was ok.She really was amazing!!!.We need more caring people in the world like this lady!!.

Best place ever....... Thanks to my Consultant . The food is like you are in hilton hotel or five star hotel(best food ). The Nurses are always there when you need them and are very very friendly and professional. Rooms are highly cleaned. My Surgeon 😷 is My Hero.

I had surgery for the first time at New Victoria Hospital in October. From entering the building at 0645 on the Wednesday and leaving on the Thursday at 11am the staff and in particular the two nurses who looked after me were outstanding nothing was too much trouble. I was petrified of having surgery but everything went so well. Thank you very much for all your help and support it has been outstanding.

Parkside Hospital

53 Parkside, Wimbledon, London SW19 5NX, UK – 020 8971 8000

Amazing hospital, I came here for Gender Reassignment Surgery at the end of April 2018 and had to spend a week here. The staff were really friendly and lovely, The rooms were kept clean and the food was amazing. Each room had a TV mounted on the wall and En-Suite Showers. I was kinda nervous about this operation but the staff were so lovely.

On the 27th March 2018, I had limb lengthening surgery, my surgeon Adrian Day is an amazing surgeon he made me feel calm and walked me through the process and his over all personality makes u feel at ease. Parkside is a lovely hospital and I cannot fault the nurses or doctors as they were so caring and helpful. If you need any kind of Knee, hip surgery, I would advise Adrian Day. I cannot thank him enough for how he will change my future. Thanks to all the staff at parkside. Keep up the good work! Sophie Courtney

Everyday Church

30 Queen's Rd, Wimbledon, London SW19 8LR, UK – 020 8947 1859

I've been attending Everyday Church for nearly 10 years now. When I first started coming, I wasn't a Christian, but what first attracted to me to the place was the friendliness of everyone I met and the tangible sense of community. For someone not born in the UK, the togetherness was very appealing. 10 years later this is still 'my' church, and I've tried to communicate the same friendliness that was once shown to me. Everyday Church is collectively in love with Jesus Christ, and that love inspires us to go out in His name. We preach the full word of God and we try and put into practice what Jesus tells us to do. No church this side of heaven is perfect, but together as a congregation we're getting closer!

I attended Everyday Church Wimbledon for about 11 years before moving to Everyday Kingston. It was a great church to be a part of and my relationship with God grew massively while I was there. The Sunday services are great times with good worship and Bible-based teaching, but the real gem is the community found in the local Life Groups which meet during the week. I was also involved with the youth group which is an excellent mix of having great fun together and finding more about God.

New Leaf Recycling Ltd

Very professional service from Mike and the team. We have all our WEEE recycled with New Leaf.

Called to see if I could have a single sack's worth of old confidential financial and other personal documents shredded as a one-off. No problem, no hassle, very friendly and efficient. Top service.

Merton Recycling & Reuse Centre

63-69 Amenity Way, Morden SM4 4AX, UK – 020 8274 4902

Useful for domestic bulk recycling. Car needed, help given in site if requested. All skips now use large steps, so not good for the elderly or disabled. Some labeling could be clearer... dropping in some asbestos to marked skip, I was informed it needs to be double wrapped and this was clearly stated on the website!!??!!

Very busy, particularly at weekends. Recycling bays well signposted. Reprocessing facilities extended and improved recently but at the expense of one of the two exits. Traffic-flow is consequently much reduced.

Give and get free stuff. Here you will find lots of items that people are willing to give away, for FREE! This is instead of taking them to a local landfill site. The aim of this site is to reduce the amount of waste that goes to landfill (20.9 million tonnes of it last year in the UK) and recycling is great news for the environment.
We all know that we need to recycle more - and this is a great way of doing it.

Parking available right opposite. Train station just three minutes away. Adequate food available. Choice of food available. Friendly staff. Best value for money for kids birthday party, or family get-together

We visited here for on last Saturday night for dinner. This place serves a buffet if food food from different countries: Indian, US other Asian foods. Some of the food includes curries, kebabs, burgers, Nachos and sushi.Great choice, good value and pretty good quality for a buffet. Can be a bit busy and noisy unless you sit by the entrance which is quieter. Could have better table service for drinks.Overall Loved the choice of food available, and most of it was very tasty. Some of the food was cold and would of expected better quality for the money paid, but General it was a nice, visit staff were friendly.

Bill's Wimbledon Restaurant

20 Hartfield Rd, Wimbledon, London SW19 3TA, UK – 020 8947 8285

Nice environment in a central location. The staff were super friendly and helpful, without being overbearing. It’s very child-friendly and the tables are spread out enough to not feel crowded. Not super-cheap but still reasonably priced for what you get, especially if you go with the set menu.

Very good food. Waitresses good. Drinks more expensive than I am use too.

Carluccio's

25 High Street Wimbledon, Wimbledon, London SW19 5DX, UK – 020 8946 1202

We went later than the normal lunchtime rush and had a lovely meal. The pasta was exceptionally good, very fresh and with high quality ingredients in the sauces and toppings. Service was prompt and on realising they forgot our olives we were given some free bread and olive oil.

Nice for a chain restaurant, air-con was turned way up but the food is good and service was quick

Bright Horizons Wimbledon House Day Nursery and Preschool

1b- 1c Dorset Rd, Wimbledon, London SW19 3EY, UK – 020 3780 3029

see my Nephew every Couple of weekends, When I see him, he always mentions about the fun day's he has had at nursery. Also shows me paintings and a huge range of mark making opportunities he gets at the nursery. When i speak to the mum she always tells me how happy he is and how each day is different. The staff are very polite and friendly and are very supportive and goes above and beyond. The nursery from what i have seen in pictures, has a huge garden space which most nurseries don't have the luxury to, and from what the mum has told me, each room has their own garden space..EVER BETTER. Plus which i think is more amazing, when i cook food for my nephew, he always says "i want food like nursery" When i cook that food, he later says "i don't like it, i like nursery" From when i was discussing fees, the price she is paying for the level of standards, i can not argue, for what she is getting from her fees is priceless.

A stunning nursery with beautiful gardens! We have used this nursery for 3 years and have had amazing experiences. The staff are all lovely and the Management team are meticulous! Our eldest is now going off to school but we will definitely be coming back for the summer and Christmas fairs! I couldn't recommend this nursery enough!

Really helpful input for 13+ and choosing Senior School. Best school uniform in the area! Parent community is strong and as an ex-parent, I'm still invited to be involved in choir/ music opportunities, which feels like a privilege.

The Study School

57 Thetford Rd, New Malden KT3 5DP, UK – 020 8942 0754

This is a phenomenal school with fantastic leadership in place. I have two sons who attend the school - each with different skills. Not only does the school ensure each child has their needs meet, they challenge an nurture them. I am so grateful to the teaching staff and respect the Head Teacher immensely for her personal approach, her visibility and her enthusiasm. She has transformed the school and champions each child in the school as if he or she was her own. She knows each parent and provides a bespoke and tailored approach to every family. Her commitment to the school is to be commended and the outcome of beautiful, wonderfully talented children is a reflection of all that the school does. As a paediatrician who works full time, I feel so grateful to the school for teaching my children so well and managing to ensure I feel I am involved in all aspects of my child's education. I recommend the school over any other school in the area.

This is a good school. My daughter enjoyed it very much. She made a lot of friends and became more confident, more chatty. Mrs Sparrow and Mrs Twomey (Nursery) are very caring and professional.
